A quick word on soft liners.
The gentleman in last months blog post had a soft liner on his previous lower dentures. I'm not a fan of soft liners unless there is no other option.
Why? Because they can peel off, they are hard to adjust and they can get get dirty because they can be hard to keep clean. In my experience there are very, very few people that need a soft liner.
I made his new denture without a soft liner and he's going very well. As long as the denture fits well, is designed properly and has been made on a good impression, it will be fine in the vast majority of cases.
